  • Condemed sign on hundreds of houses..
  • House ripped off its foundation by rushing floodwaters leaving the family homeless and the structure to be demolished and removed.
  • Useless car sits beside a condemed home that was under flood waters from Sweetwater Creek, toys still sit on the roof where they were left once the waters went down.
  • A lone sandal left by flood waters sits in the middle of the street surrounded by destroyed and condemed mobile homes.
  • Furnishings left a mess and ruined inside a condemed homw along Sweetwater Creek. The water level was nearly 2 feet over the top of the house.
  • One of the hundreds of "Condemed" signs in this Sweetwater Creek Subdivision. You can see the bricks that were once part of the foundation before floodwaters washed it several feet back.
  • A Couch, Love Seat and Wheel Chair sits in what used to be a Great Room of a home along Sweetwater Creek, the flood waters were too much for this subdivision causing 3/4 of all its homes to be destroyed and/or condemed.

  • Porch support beam from this home is wedged in a tree in the front yard, torn loose by raging flood waters.
  • This home was lifted off its foundation and slammed into trees stopping it from washing farther downstream by the powerful flood waters of Sweetwater Creek.
  • Storage shed ripped from its foundation and washed against trees in floodwaters that were over the roof of the house.
  • Bathroom counter, sink, shower out front of a house that was under water.

  • If you look to the left side of the picture thats where the Suburban was trapped..

  • If you look hard in the center of this debris you will see a couple shiny spots, thats a Chevrolet Suburban trapped in there. Prayers to the family of this lady for their tragic loss as she did not make it out.
